Who is Charles Sears?

I am a family-first, servant leader dedicated to helping people achieve their goals. My mission is to empower owners, leaders, and the individuals who drive organizations, not just the businesses themselves. I am guided by the core Christian values of integrity, faith, and service.

I bring more than a theoretical approach to business–I’ve successfully built and managed diverse ventures, including national eCommerce stores, digital marketing agencies, and clothing brands.

Family and faith remain the foundation of my life. I dedicate my time to nurturing and building connections that inspire growth, opportunity, and shared purpose.

At 20, Charles launched his first business, “Reeves Sears Pool Service and Repair,” when a Yellow Pages ad and door-knocking were all you needed to grow a small business.

After selling his pool route, Charles joined the United States Army National Guard as a tech specialist. Rising to the rank of Sergeant, he served as a section leader in his unit for six years, leading troops, developing standard operating procedures and advising the command on communication-related strategies.

Concurrently with his military service, he spent five years as a Deputy Sheriff in the County of Kern. In 2018, at 31 and with a baby on the way, Charles left law enforcement to pursue technology in the private sector. During his exit from law enforcement, Charles fought a four-year legal battle that helped to curb discrimination against veterans at the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.

He since has founded, acquired and sold multiple small businesses. As a tech, business and marketing consultant, he has mentored and consulted for over 100 business owners. He currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer of Torq MSP, LLC- an AI-driven managed services provider that helps companies advance their technology, improve productivity and gain the competitive edge in the marketplace.

Driven by a vision to create a safer, more stable nation for his daughters and future generations, Charles believes in living morally and caring for others. He is committed to changing the world by utilizing the gifts God has given him.
